Nateglinide
Nateglinide is an amino acid-derived oral hypoglycemic agent used to treat type 2 diabetes by stimulating pancreatic insulin secretion. It is employed in research on diabetes pathophysiology and drug mechanisms, both in vitro and in animal models. Rare cases of clinically apparent acute liver injury have been associated with its use.
