PIK-93 is a potent and selective synthetic inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 4-kinase (PI4K) with an IC50 of 19 nM, and it also inhibits PI3Kα with an IC50 of 39 nM. This small molecule is a valuable chemical probe for studying phosphoinositide signaling in cancer research and has been utilized in both cellular and in vivo models to investigate lipid kinase function.
