Maribavir
Maribavir is an orally bioavailable benzimidazole riboside that acts as a selective ATP-competitive inhibitor of the CMV UL97 kinase. It is effective against drug-resistant CMV strains and is used in research applications involving in vitro antiviral assays and in vivo models of cytomegalovirus infection.
