Conoidin A is a cell-permeable, covalent inhibitor of Toxoplasma gondii peroxiredoxin II (TgPrxII) at Cys47, with an IC50 of 23 μM. It also inhibits hyperoxidation of mammalian PrxI/II and exhibits antioxidant properties, supporting research in parasitology, redox biology, and models of ischemic heart disease.
