GSK-5959 is a potent, selective, and cell-permeable small molecule inhibitor of the BRPF1 bromodomain, exhibiting an IC50 of approximately 80 nM. It demonstrates over 100-fold selectivity against 35 other bromodomains, including BRPF2/3 and BET family members. This inhibitor is a valuable chemical probe for investigating BRPF1 function in epigenetic regulation and related disease models in both cellular and in vivo contexts.
