CGP 3466B maleate (Omigapil maleate) is an orally active inhibitor of GAPDH nitrosylation and apoptosis. It has been shown in preclinical studies to reduce Aβ-induced tau pathology and cognitive deficits in mouse models of Alzheimer's disease, and is also investigated for congenital muscular dystrophy research.
