Hemicholinium-3 is a selective, high-affinity inhibitor of the high-affinity choline transporter (CHT1) . It is extensively used in neuroscience research to study cholinergic neurotransmission, synaptic plasticity, and has been employed in both in vitro and in vivo models of cholinergic dysfunction.
