Trimethyloctadecylammonium bromide is a dynamin inhibitor with an IC50 of 1.9 μM against dynamin I and also targets dynamin II. This small molecule is used in biochemical research to study clathrin-mediated endocytosis and synaptic vesicle recycling in both cellular and isolated protein assays.
