Prochloraz
Prochloraz is a contact imidazole fungicide that potently inhibits aromatase (IC50 = 40 nM) and acts as an antagonist for estrogen (IC50s = 25 μM) and androgen (IC50 = 4 μM) receptors while activating the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (EC50 = 1 μM) . It is widely used in endocrine disruption research and in vitro toxicology studies to investigate steroidogenesis and receptor-mediated signaling pathways.
