(R) -Propranolol hydrochloride
Dexpropranolol hydrochloride is the less active (R) -enantiomer of propranolol, a non-selective β-adrenergic receptor antagonist with high affinity for both β1AR (Ki=1.8 nM) and β2AR (Ki=0.8 nM) . It is used as a pharmacological tool in cardiovascular and neuroscience research for in vitro and in vivo studies of β-adrenoceptor function.
