Alogliptin (SYR-322) is a highly selective DPP-4 inhibitor with an IC50 under 10 nM, demonstrating over 10,000-fold selectivity against DPP-8/9. It is widely used in diabetes research to study glucose metabolism in both cellular assays and animal models of type 2 diabetes.
