Pemetrexed disodium hemipenta hydrate
Pemetrexed disodium hemipenta hydrate is a novel antifolate antimetabolite that potently inhibits thymidylate synthase (TS), dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR), and glycinamide ribonucleotide formyltransferase (GARFT) with Ki values of 1.3 nM, 7.2 nM, and 65 nM, respectively. It is widely used in cancer research for both in vitro enzymatic studies and in vivo xenograft models to investigate its antitumor mechanisms.
