Cidofovir
Cidofovir ((S) -HPMPC) is an antiviral nucleotide analog that selectively inhibits viral DNA polymerase, thereby suppressing viral DNA replication. It is widely used in research to study DNA virus infections, including cytomegalovirus and poxviruses, in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
