Obatoclax Mesylate (GX15-070) is a small molecule Bcl-2 antagonist with a Ki of 0.22 μM. It induces apoptosis by upregulating Bim, promoting cytochrome c release, and activating caspase-3. This compound is utilized in cancer research for both in vitro studies and in vivo models to investigate mechanisms of programmed cell death.
