NVP-AEW541 is a potent, cell-permeable small molecule inhibitor of IGF-1R (IC50=150 nM) and InsR (IC50=140 nM) with excellent cellular selectivity for IGF-1R. It is widely used in cancer research to study oncogenic signaling pathways and has been applied in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
