ADL-5859 hydrochloride is a potent and selective δ-opioid receptor agonist (Ki = 0.8 nM) with minimal activity at κ- and μ-opioid receptors and low hERG channel inhibition. It is a valuable research tool for investigating δ-receptor pharmacology in both in vitro assays and in vivo models of pain and mood disorders.
