AZD-5672 is a potent CCR5 antagonist (IC50 = 0.32 nM) investigated for rheumatoid arthritis. It also exhibits off-target activity, inhibiting hERG binding and P-gp transport at micromolar concentrations. This small molecule is a tool for in vitro and in vivo studies of chemokine receptor function and inflammatory disease models.
