Vedaprofen
Vedaprofen (PM 150) is a dual-activity small molecule that acts as a COX-1 inhibitor, exerting anti-inflammatory effects by reducing prostaglandin H2 synthesis. It also inhibits the Escherichia coli sliding clamp (DnaN) with an IC50 of 222 μM and a Ki of 131 μM, making it a useful tool for studying bacterial replication and inflammation mechanisms in vitro.
