Emedastine
Emedastine is a selective H1 receptor antagonist that reversibly blocks histamine, inhibiting mast cell mediator release and calcium mobilization. It is used in research on allergic conjunctivitis, studying histamine-induced vascular permeability in vivo and mast cell/basophil activation in vitro.
