Torilolone
Torilin and torilolone demonstrate potent hepatoprotective activity in vitro, protecting Hep G2 cells from tacrine-induced cytotoxicity with EC50 values of 20.6 μM and 3.6 μM, respectively. These natural compounds are valuable research tools for investigating liver injury models and mechanisms of cytoprotection, outperforming the reference compound silybin (EC50 69.0 μM) .
