Valganciclovir hydrochloride
Valganciclovir HCl is the hydrochloride salt of the ganciclovir prodrug, a deoxyguanosine analog. Upon cellular phosphorylation, it inhibits viral DNA polymerase, halting replication. It is widely used in antiviral research, including in vitro assays and in vivo models for cytomegalovirus and herpesvirus infections.
