Maraviroc
Maraviroc is a selective CCR5 antagonist that potently inhibits the binding of chemokines MIP-1α, MIP-1β, and RANTES. It blocks HIV-1 entry via CCR5 and is widely used in virology research for studying viral entry mechanisms, coreceptor tropism, and in antiviral assays both in vitro and in vivo.
