Alvelestat
Alvelestat (AZD9668) is an oral, selective, and reversible inhibitor of human neutrophil elastase (NE) . It has demonstrated anti-inflammatory activity in research models of pulmonary diseases such as COPD and bronchiectasis, as investigated in both in vitro and in vivo studies.
