POL1-IN-1 (Compound 3A) is a selective RNA polymerase I transcription inhibitor, active in A375 melanoma cells in vitro without affecting RNA polymerase II. This specificity makes it a valuable chemical probe for studying nucleolar stress and ribosome biogenesis in cancer research models.
