Stiripentol
Stiripentol (STP) is an anticonvulsant agent that noncompetitively inhibits CYP3A4 and competitively inhibits CYP2C19, thereby reducing the N-demethylation of clobazam to N-desmethylclobazam. It is used in research on epilepsy, drug metabolism, and cytochrome P450 interactions, with applications in both in vitro enzyme assays and in vivo pharmacological studies.
