Gitogenin
Gitogenin, tigogenin, and solasodine are selective UGT1A4 inhibitors that do not affect major CYP isoforms. Gitogenin also inhibits α-glucosidase and stimulates growth hormone release in rat pituitary cells in vitro, making these compounds useful for enzyme inhibition and endocrine research.
