Ardisiacrispin A (Deglucocyclamin) is a cytotoxic agent with a GI (50) of 1.56 μM against HepG2 cells, inducing apoptosis and microtubule disassembly in Bel-7402 cells. The Ardisiacrispin (A+B) mixture also inhibits HL-60 cell proliferation by arresting the cell cycle at S phase and triggering apoptosis, highlighting its utility in anticancer research.
