EUK-8, or Manganese (salen) chloride, is a synthetic mimetic of superoxide dismutase and catalase enzymes. This antioxidant compound scavenges reactive oxygen species and has been shown in research to mitigate acute lung injury in endotoxemic swine models, supporting its study in oxidative stress-related pathologies.
