Indoximod
Indoximod (NLG-8189) is a methylated tryptophan analog that acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by targeting indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO) . Its inhibition of IDO prevents tryptophan depletion, thereby countering T-cell anergy and immunosuppression. This small molecule is utilized in both in vitro and in vivo research to study cancer immunotherapy, autoimmune diseases, and T-cell function.
