Desmethyl Erlotinib hydrochloride (OSI-420) is the pharmacologically active metabolite of the EGFR inhibitor erlotinib. It potently inhibits EGFR tyrosine kinase activity and its autophosphorylation, with IC50 values of 2 nM and 20 nM, respectively.
