YF-2
YF-2 is a brain-penetrant small molecule activator of histone acetyltransferases (HATs) . It promotes histone H3 acetylation in the hippocampus and activates CBP, PCAF, and GCN5 with EC50 values of 2.75 μM, 29.04 μM, and 49.31 μM, respectively. This tool compound is used in neuroscience research to study epigenetic mechanisms in cognitive function and related disorders in both cellular and animal models.
