Zearalenone
Zearalenone (ZEN, F2 toxin) is a Fusarium mycotoxin with estrogenic activity, exhibiting low acute toxicity but causing hyperestrogenic effects such as precocious mammary development in swine. It is widely used as a research tool in mycotoxin analysis, endocrine disruption studies, and in vitro/in vivo models of mycotoxicosis and reproductive toxicity.
