Tocofersolan
Tocofersolan (TPGS) is a water-soluble polyethylene glycol conjugate of α-tocopherol. It is used as an oral therapy for vitamin E deficiency caused by digestive malabsorption in children with congenital or hereditary chronic cholestasis. This surfactant is also widely employed in research to enhance drug solubility and absorption in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
