Tiazofurin
Tiazofurin (NSC-286193) is a synthetic nucleoside analog with antineoplastic properties. It functions as a prodrug, being metabolized intracellularly to TAD, a potent inhibitor of IMP dehydrogenase (IMPDH) . This mechanism has been investigated in vitro and in vivo for its effects on cancer cell proliferation and tumor growth.
