Methyldopa hydrate
Methyldopa hydrate is an antihypertensive agent that acts as a DOPA decarboxylase inhibitor and an indirect α2-adrenergic agonist. It reduces sympathetic outflow and catecholamine synthesis, and its NO-dependent sedative properties have been investigated in both in vivo and in vitro models of hypertension research.
