Teprenone
Teprenone (Geranylgeranylacetone) is a small molecule inducer of heat shock proteins (HSPs), originally developed as an anti-ulcer agent. It is widely used in research to study cytoprotection, particularly in models of gastric injury, hepatic ischemia-reperfusion, and neurodegenerative diseases in both in vitro and in vivo experimental settings.
