GC376 is a potent small molecule inhibitor of 3C-like proteases (3CLpro), exhibiting inhibitory activity in the low micromolar range (IC50 0.49-4.35 μM) . It is widely used in biochemical and cellular assays to study coronavirus replication and has demonstrated antiviral efficacy in feline infectious peritonitis models.
