Sulconazole
Sulconazole mononitrate (Exelderm) is a synthetic imidazole antifungal agent. It disrupts fungal cell membrane integrity by inhibiting ergosterol synthesis via cytochrome P-450, and may also interfere with fungal nucleic acid metabolism. This compound is used in research to study antifungal mechanisms in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
