BEC hydrochloride
BEC hydrochloride is a potent, slow-binding competitive inhibitor of arginase. It exhibits a Ki of 0.31 μM for human Arginase II and 0.4-0.6 μM for rat Arginase I. This inhibitor is widely used in both in vitro and in vivo research to study the roles of arginase in cardiovascular, pulmonary, and immunological pathways.
