Almitrine mesylate
Almitrine dimesylate is a selective inhibitor of the Ca2+-dependent K+ channel, notably in rat chemoreceptor cells. It has been used in research on hypoxemic chronic lung disease, facilitating studies on chemoreflex pathways and hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction in both in vitro and in vivo models.
