Vitexin
Vitexin is a bioactive flavonoid with demonstrated antinociceptive, antispasmodic, and antioxidant properties, alongside α-glucosidase and myeloperoxidase inhibition. It modulates cytochrome P450 enzymes and exhibits neuroprotective effects against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury in vivo, involving MAPK and apoptotic pathways, as well as p53-dependent apoptotic mechanisms in vitro.
