Nelociguat (BAY60-4552) is a stimulator of soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC), a central enzyme in nitric oxide (NO) signaling. This research compound is used in vitro and in vivo to study cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, including pulmonary hypertension, by potentiating the NO-sGC-cGMP pathway.
