2,4-Diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine
2,4-Diamino-6-hydroxypyrimidine (DAHP) is a specific inhibitor of GTP cyclohydrolase I, the enzyme responsible for the rate-limiting step in de novo pterin biosynthesis. It is widely used in research to study tetrahydrobiopterin-dependent processes, nitric oxide synthase activity, and neurotransmitter synthesis in both cellular and animal models.
