6-Shogaol is a bioactive compound with demonstrated anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and analgesic properties, shown in a rat model of monoarthritis. It also exhibits anticancer activity in vitro, inducing apoptosis in human cancer cells and inhibiting hepatocellular carcinoma metastasis via modulation of MAPK, PI3K/Akt, NF-κB, and STAT3 signaling pathways.
