Gnetol
Gnetol is a bioactive small molecule that potently inhibits butyrylcholinesterase (IC50: 1.3 μM) and murine tyrosinase, suppressing melanin synthesis in B16 melanoma cells. It also inhibits arachidonic acid-induced platelet aggregation, making it relevant for neurological, dermatological, and cardiovascular research.
