P-Hydroxycinnamic acid is a bioactive compound that inhibits platelet activity. It demonstrates inhibitory effects on thromboxane B2 and LPS-induced prostaglandin E2 production with IC50 values of 371 μM and 126 μM, respectively. This small molecule is used in research on inflammation, thrombosis, and eicosanoid signaling pathways in vitro.
