Afuresertib hydrochloride is a potent and selective pan-Akt kinase inhibitor, exhibiting Kis of 0.08, 2, and 2.6 nM for Akt1, Akt2, and Akt3, respectively. It is widely used in preclinical research to investigate the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway in cancer, with applications in both in vitro cellular assays and in vivo xenograft models.
