IC 86621 is a potent, selective, and reversible ATP-competitive inhibitor of DNA-PK, exhibiting an IC50 of 120 nM. It disrupts DNA double-strand break repair with an EC50 of 68 μM in cellular assays, enhancing the antitumor effects of DNA-damaging agents in cancer research models, both in vitro and in vivo.
