Beta-mangostin
Beta-mangostin is a bioactive xanthone with demonstrated in vitro antimycobacterial activity against M. tuberculosis (MIC 6.25 μg/mL) and antimalarial activity against P. falciparum (IC50 3.00 μg/mL) . It is also investigated for its potent anticancer properties in various cell line studies, including hepatocellular carcinoma and leukemia.
