Tricin is a bioactive flavonoid that suppresses human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) replication through CDK9 inhibition. It also impedes glioma cell proliferation and invasion by upregulating microRNA-7, which targets focal adhesion kinase (FAK) . This compound is a useful research tool for virology and oncology studies in vitro.
